In 2011 the BBC is opening MediaCityUK their brand new state of the art offices. The BBC have been relocating and recruiting over 900 employees North and recruiting for a number of roles. I've been working closely with the BBC, launching their recruitment website and online campaign advertising. I also designed a lot of the BBC North 2011 attraction and campaign advertising and the website has been reporting over 30,000 users / month.
I've was involved in many elements of the sites creation, to develop the BBCs online employer brand, website design and core concept for both the North and Jobs section of the BBC brand. I assisted Flow Interactive with the User Experience (UX) testing, designing and refining the website layout, site structure and navigation using wireframing and using profiled focus groups. I project managed designed and coded the BBC North website in line with the BBCs global web standards using the BBCs own Javascript library of widgets (Glow) and BBC iPlayer technology.

I'm Head of Interactive for Last Night A DJ Saved My Life. The charity raises awareness and funds for humanitarian and environmental causes. From literally just their logo I developed the charities online and print based brand which is being realised through all corporate and media based communication.
Last Night A DJ Saved My Life is a charity with strong links to the dance music scene, based in Ibiza. The first thing that I wanted to do when branding for this project was to look at introducing the sunset which has great significance amongst the Ibiza clubbing fraternity. I looked into ways I could animate the sunset and introduce the night which, as well as being relevant to the scene, was also apparent in the title of the charity.
I looked into creating a real-time skyline, based on the time zone that you are in but felt it more interesting to see the progression into the night sped-up. You can see many spectrums of the sunset itself through night and a full rotation through to sunrise. When the sun goes down and as day turns to night in the animation, the sun rays morph to look more like the beams from a night club laser to reinforce both the transition of the sun, and the dance music aspect of the charity.

From the original designs worked on by Golley Slater I created the CenterParcs website and Facebook App to run alongside the Boxing Day launch of the CenterParcs 'Memories' television advert. On the website the user is able to able to view and vote for their favourite CenterParcs moment video and register that vote on Facebook. I briefed and worked alongside a PHP/Ajax programmer to create the voting system and core back-end functionality. The videos have been hosted on YouTube are iPhone/iPad compatible and restyled for viewing and voting for on the website.

Website: www.pennapear.com
This website is designed to promote Penna PLC Employer Branding capabilities to a wide range of clients. There is a large area of case studies which breaks down some of the projects we'd undertaken in a very clean and easily read format. The brief was to also include a dynamically displayed range of adverts of each client. The site also features some quirky animations about each of the services that we provide.
It features video, a dynamically loaded image gallery and a flash based PHP contact form.
Features: Flash | PHP | Flash, PHP & XML integration | Video Editing and Optimisation.
